FIGHT OUTSIDE BAR LEADS TO BITING CHARGE.(CAPITAL REGION)(Correction notice)

Albany An East Greenbush man was arrested early Sunday after he bit off a piece of another man's ear during a brawl outside a Broadway nightspot, police said.

The alleged biter also was stabbed by someone during the disturbance.

Jason Bruno, 23, allegedly chomped on Justin Novak's ear during a melee outside Doc McCutchen's at 388 Broadway.

Police said Bruno and Novak were wrestling on the sidewalk when Bruno allegedly sank his teeth into Novak's left ear. ``He bit off a piece of the kid's ear,'' Public Safety Department spokesman Detective James Miller said Sunday.
