Vic: Baby giraffe makes first public appearance at Melbourne Zoo

A baby giraffe born at Melbourne Zoo last month under an international breeding program
.. has made her public appearance at the zoo.

The unnamed female Rothschild Giraffe calf was born at the zoo on March 21.

She was placed in the zoo's giraffe house with mother Twiga .. to allow them quiet
time to bond .. but yesterday the pair were shown to the public for the first time.
